Are doors there to be closed or to be left opened?

Why are we always leaving a back door open or an open door behind?

Which things should be done behind closed doors?

My door always stands open for you. There are so many sayings about doors:

He is standing behind the door

Death is knocking at my door.

She is as flat as a door

If the eyes are the windows of the sole, are we double minded because a house most often have a front and back door. Is life not less complicated if we only have one option? Would we be different if we were brought up in a home with only one door?

When I grew up I have build a home with 12 doors which lead to the out side.

For many people it was a home with 12 doors towards the inside.

1.There was a door for everybody who needed to feel welcome.

2.There was a door for the clients.

3.There was one large door for the Tiburon.

4.Another door for the pottery students.

5.A door to Bella’s castle

6.The door to the guest apartment which also led into the Turkish bathroom and home

7.The see-through slidingdoor which connected the inside with the outside entertainment

8.The door from the black bathroom onto the outside entertainment area.

9.The hidden door from the closet where the sun could be switched on and of if the inhabitant could not face reality TV of Eversdal.

10.The Deserted door which used to be the old family room door were for some reason always knocked on during Christmas, Easter or Pinkster by the deserted and hungry, or when emergency called.

11.The old front door changed position with a 90 degree swing from corner to corner where children could come and go unseen.

12. The balcony door which allowed the rain to walk in for a gentle or stormy conversation.

This was my orange home in Africa with the purple roof and green window frames. It was my castle and a heaven to the lost. There were always food for the hungry and colors of drink to the thirsty. A bed for the tired and an ear to those who wanted to be heard. A fire to warm up the cold and a fridge to feed the army.
